NALS is proud to be working with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) helping to provide landlords with information about Universal Credit.
Universal Credit is having a big impact on the private rented sector, and NALS wants to support tenants, and ensure that no-one in receipt of the new benefit is excluded from the PRS because of confusion around the changes.
We’d encourage you to make use of the DWP’s website, which offers an overview of what landlords need to know about Universal Credit and what you can do to support and advise both your tenants and landlords. It also contains a useful top tips for landlords guide, new videos and a new section of the Understanding Universal Credit website for landlords.
