Today we heard the news that Government intends to make Client Money Protection mandatory for all letting agents. Isobel Thomson, NALS CEO, responds:

“NALS is delighted that finally this consumer protection measure will be become a requirement for all agents. It has been a long time coming but Government listened to the sector who were united in calling for mandatory CMP.
“The decision is a victory for common sense and a great example of the industry educating Government and protecting the consumer. We look forward to engaging when the consultation is issued.”
