safeagent’s Rent Smart Wales (RSW) training course has been given the scheme’s top ‘High Assurance’ rating following its latest audit.
Passing the audit with flying colours, safeagent was awarded the highest possible rating of ‘High Assurance’. The audit found controls were robust in all relevant areas of safeagent’s training, and best practice was also demonstrated in key areas of the audit.
Rent Smart Wales, the regulator for agents and landlords in Wales grants licences to landlords and agents who need to comply with the Housing (Wales) Act 2014. Part of the agent licensing requirement is that the person applying for a licence, or the staff of the company applying for a licence must complete approved agent training.
safeagent has been an approved training provider for Rent Smart Wales since the scheme launched in 2016. By completing the safeagent Foundation Lettings Course (Wales), agents can become compliant with the Rent Smart Wales licensing training requirement. The course can be taken entirely online, without the need to visit a training or testing centre.
