We are thrilled to announce an exciting joint venture with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) – launched today – supporting agents in improving their knowledge on all things deposit protection with a brand-new online training offer.

The Certificate of Award in Deposit Protection covers the key principles in deposit protection for agents, ideal for those looking for a trusted means of demonstrating to landlords and tenants their knowledge in this area, or those completely new to the industry looking to learn more about the lifecycle of a tenancy deposit.

To celebrate the launch, we are offering the first 40 safeagent members who enrol in the training the Certificate entirely for free – a saving of £48! The offer is only valid for safeagent members who are also DPS-registered letting agents; the only deposit protection provider offering accredited training backed by safeagent and accredited by NCFE.

A comprehensive online course, the Certificate covers four learning modules spanning all necessary elements of deposit protection safeguarding, including:

~ Starting a residential tenancy

~ During the tenancy

~ Tenancy is coming to an end

~ Deposit disputes

Once all four modules are completed successfully, the Certificate of Award in Deposit Protection is awarded following a final test.
