Government have today updated the ‘How to Rent’, ‘How to Rent a Safe Home’ and ‘How to Let‘ Guides.  

The guides were last updated in June 2019 and have now been updated to reflect new laws which have come into force as a result of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and the Electrical Safety Act 2020.

As the ‘How to Rent’ guide must be given tenants at the beginning of new tenancies, it is important agents use the latest versions, which can be found here:
