Save the date! SAFEagent Awareness Week 2016

SAFEagent are pleased to announce the dates for SAFEagent Awareness Week 2016 which is set to take place from 6th to 10th of June, and coincides with the 5th anniversary of the consumer protection campaign.

SAFEagent Awareness Week is an annual community-generated media event where SAFEagents and industry stake-holders across the country unite to highlight the importance of client money protection and encourage consumers to only use those agents who can give them peace of mind that their monies are protected.

John Midgley, Chair of SAFEagent commented:

“This year’s campaign comes at a pivotal point in the campaign, where client money protection is very much on the political agenda.

Baroness Hayter has been working tirelessly to make client money protection mandatory for all lettings agents, and it is vital that this year’s campaign reaches politicians as well as landlords and tenants.

I urge all SAFEagents to support the activity with a concerted push to get the message heard at Westminster”.

John Midgley recent gave this up-date from the NALS Conference on why the SAFEagent campaign is more relevant than ever:

So put the date in your diary – 6th to 10th of June – and stay tuned for further up-dates as to how you can get involved and do your bit to ensure consumers have a positive experience of working with lettings agents in the private rented sector.
